The Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Competition is a fully virtual entrepreneurship competition in which high-school students from around the world develop innovative business ideas and present them through video pitches.

Registration for the 2027 competition is open. Participants first register and can then use the Blue Ocean Mini-Course and strategy resources provided by the organizer to develop their ideas.

Students may compete individually or in teams of up to five. All participants must be high-school students aged 14–18 at the time of registration.

The final entry is a 3–5 minute video pitch that must be uploaded to YouTube and submitted through the organizer's system.

The 2027 pitch submission deadline is February 21, 2027 at 23:59 in the participant's local time zone.

Participation is completely free. Published 2027 awards include $1,000 for first place, $750 for second, $500 for third and $750 for the People's Choice award.
