SEC releases the 2027 university entrance examination programs
Azerbaijan's State Examination Center has published the programs for the second stage of the 2027 university entrance examinations and confirmed that the 2026 exam model will remain in use.
Azerbaijan's State Examination Center has released the official Azerbaijani- and Russian-language programs for the second stage of the 2027 university entrance examinations.
The SEC confirmed that the examination model used in 2026 will remain in place for the 2027 admissions cycle.
Test blocks will include 22 closed-format questions and five open questions involving coded responses, selection, calculation or matching.
Relevant subject groups will also include three open-ended tasks requiring written answers. In Group I mathematics, one of these tasks will involve a proof.
The SEC states that the main reference materials listed in the programs are textbooks currently used in Azerbaijani schools and that no topics outside the textbooks have been added.
Students preparing for the 2027 entrance examinations should review the new official programs for their subject group and align their preparation accordingly.
